Medical Grade RLT & Weight Management
When it comes to Red Light Therapy (RLT) and its many benefits, it's important to know that not all RLT is the same.
Many home-use devices may make incredible claims about RLT helping to reduce body weight. But the truth is, only specific formats of medical grade RLT devices are capable of disturbing fat cells.
Medical grade Red Light Therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses precise wavelengths of red and near-infrared light, typically ranging from 635 to 900 nanometers, to target specific areas of the body. This light penetrates the skin, reaching the mitochondria within your cells and stimulating them to produce more ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which enhances cellular energy and repair.
When the light is applied to the fat layer, it triggers the fat cells to release their contents, causing the fat to break down and be naturally eliminated through the lymphatic system. This process kickstarts fat loss in the treated areas, with no pain or downtime, and is safe for all body types.
Red Light Therapy can deliver immediate improvements in body contouring, but the most noticeable and lasting results develop gradually over multiple treatments. As your body naturally processes and eliminates the released fat, enhancements continue in the weeks following your sessions. This non-invasive, highly effective therapy not only supports your weight loss goals but also promotes overall wellness, delivering visible and sustainable results.
Each RLT session for fat loss includes 20 minutes of Red Light Therapy, followed by a 10 minute full body vibration lymphatic drainage treatment.
*When paired with consistent adherence to our weight loss protocol, 92% of clients reported a positive, noticeable improvement in their body composition. These changes include reductions in body circumference, weight loss, and an enhanced sense of overall well-being.

Services
Before you visit us for your red light therapy appointment, be sure to be generously hydrated. Drinking plenty of fluid is essential to allow the treatment to work to its full potential, AND help you to feel your best afterward.
Red Light Therapy requires direct skin contact with the light source. When we apply RLT directly to your skin, we're ensuring maximum exposure, allowing the red and near infrared light to shine up to two inches, and sometimes even more, below the outer skin layer.
Being well-rested before your treatment can also have a profound effect on your overall results. Avoid eating large meals or engaging in vigorous exercise at least one hour prior to each treatment.
Each RLT session includes 20 minutes of treatment, followed by a 10 minute lymphatic drainage vibration treatment.
When you receive red light therapy at Aura, you will be lying in a comfortable position on your back, either flat on a massage bed or reclined. We offer additional blankets and cushions to keep you comfortable.
While you are lying down, we will wrap the targeted treatment areas of your body with several flexible light pads. These light pads will be gently hugging your skin throughout the treatment and will emit highly concentrated wavelengths of red and near-infrared light.
During this time, you should be feeling comfortably warm and relaxed. On occasion, it may be possible for some to feel a faint tickling below the skin from the increased circulation. Red Light Therapy should never cause any pain or discomfort. In fact, most people find it to be so relaxing that they occasionally fall asleep while undergoing treatment.
